Once again from Twitter MK`s co-creator Ed Boon answers a few questions from the fans.

This time around he confirms that they had almost finished 2 aditional characters for MKvsDCU to be available for downlad, one from the DC side(he didin`t mention exactly who) and one form the MK side, the sorcerer Quan chi. It is such a shame that midway decided that it wasn`t worth it to go forward and publish the DLC....

Ed boon has recently confirmed that the DLC character from the DC side was actually Dr. Harleen Quinzel, AKA, Harley Quinn.

Today`s new are presented by MK co-creator Ed Boon`s personal page, Noob.com , in wich it`s announced that Friday january 23th a few members of the MKteam will enter to MKvsDCU on-line mode for PS3 and XBOX360 in order to match their skills against the fandom.

In such event you will be able to find Ed Boon, Paulo García, Brian Lebaron, Ryan Rosenberg, Eddie Ferrier, Adam Hernández, Dave Bulvan, Derek Kirtzic, Shaun Himmerick, Hans Lo, and Héctor Sánchez (the producer). John Vogel, main story writter of the game will not participate, he confirmed to us that he is still working at midway inspite all the fires that had been happening lately.



The curious thing about the all business is that last friday ed boon posted a new image in his personal web picturing the scorpion model from MKDA versus ken from the street fighter franchise. Ed boon has stated several times that he would like to do a crossover with said franchise, of wich he is also a fan. Is this the newest joke from Ed boon himself? probably, so you can stop daydreaming about doing a fatality with/against dhalsim.

Also ed boon added a list with the top selling games for PS3 and XBOX360 that featured MKvsDCU ranked Nº2 for the PS3 and Nº7 for the 360, quite encouraging, isn`t it?

And last but not least, there is a mention about an interview in which he confirms about the DLC for the game wich will probably consist of 2 characters, one from de DC side and one from the MK side.

The game came out a few weeks ago, but that doesn`t mean the updates are stoping, the game`s oficial site, worldcollide.com has just released the render for the game`s final boss.

Dark Kahn, the fusion betwen Shao kahn and Darkseid, it is already available for you to admire it over and over again.

The character is really well done, it might not be of the taste of everybody, but at least is original, isn`t?

Finally, MKvsDCU is available worldwide, the game has caused a lot of expectations, so get your copy of the game and see by yourself how the worlds collide.

Following the tradition, this friday gametrailer released a new fatality video, featuring 3 fatalities:
The first one comes from sonya, who gracefully breaks her oponents neck with a flip.
The second one show us catwoman using her whip to literally whipe the floor with her oponent, only to finally snap his neck.
And last but not least, we have sub-zero with a new version of his MK3 fatality, a bit toned down but still, first he raises his oponent above his head, he freezes him and then he tosses him into the ground.

This has been a busy weekend for midway, we have a full-load of updates, starting with the release of 8 new in-game images featuring characters such as lex luthor, raiden, wonderwoman, baraka and deathstroke:



And if that`s not enough, IGN has a new feature video abot special and pro moves presented by John Edwards and Paulo García, just in case you forget, a pro move is and advanced version of an special move, executed by executing the right button combinations at the right moment, chek it out:



Midway also released a video featurin the finishing moves of green lantern, raiden and the flash, you can watch it on youtube:



And if you still wanted some more, Kotaku.com has a couple of articles featuring new info about the gameplay, story mode, and fatalitites of the game:

-Eventhough the game doesn`t feature multiple fighting styles, there are a couple of characters that will use weapons during certain hits while they fight, deathstroke and baraka.

-The finishing moves of the DC heroes have been renamed from Brutalities to Heroic Brutalitites.

-There is a new fighting mode called combo challenge, basically you have to complete 10 combos per character, similar to the konquest mode form MKDA, once you complete all the combos from one character you gain achievements for xbox-live.

-There is a little mode called viewer that allows you to watch the 3D models form the characters.

-We start the story mode with flash, and after a cinematic we face deathstroke and kano, then we fight batman and gain control over him after we leave the flash.

And there is a few descriptions about the fatalitites:

Deathstroke: First he slice his oponenet with his katana, and then he snap his neck.

Catwoman: She uses her whip to breack her oponent`s neck.

Jax: He uses his machine gun.

Joker: sadly, the ESRB decided that the first fatality of the joker was to much, so the MKteam toned it down a little, basically you don`t get to see the second headshot.

Kitana: Another toned down fatality, originally she impaled her fans in to the face and torso of her oponent, now she jus stab them both in the chest.

If you are familiar with this little game called Mortal Kombat, then you may have heard the name of john tobias, the co-creator of MK along with ed boon, he left the company a few years ago( almost a decade to be honest), but recently he was offered the chance to draw the MKvsDCU comic book, we have a new video featuring an interview with the man, and a few glimpses of the comic book, along with the first look to the game`s boss, Dark Khan:
