Once again from Twitter MK`s co-creator Ed Boon answers a few questions from the fans.

This time around he confirms that they had almost finished 2 aditional characters for MKvsDCU to be available for downlad, one from the DC side(he didin`t mention exactly who) and one form the MK side, the sorcerer Quan chi. It is such a shame that midway decided that it wasn`t worth it to go forward and publish the DLC....

Ed boon has recently confirmed that the DLC character from the DC side was actually Dr. Harleen Quinzel, AKA, Harley Quinn.

Midway has announced taht yesterday they received an offer for over 33 million dolars on behalf of Warner Bros. in order to buy most of the company.

According to Geoffrey Mogiliner, director of corporative communications for midway, "It's in writing now, that there is interest", he also added that the company has been in the talks with other posible buyers.

The purchase agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment would include rights to Mortal Kombat and Midway's studios in Chicago and Seattle. The agreement would not include the studio in San Diego, Newcastle or the TNA wrestling franchise. and it will also include the rights for the "Wheelman" game developed by New Castle.

Prior to finalizing the deal, there will be a court supervised auction, companies will have 30 days for biding before the actual auction, in which midway`s assets will be sold.

After weeks of speculating, rumors, and filtered news, we still don`t know anything solid regarding Midway`s life or death situation, or could we geting closer to midway`s resurrection chapter?

Nowadays, Warner Bros. is the best positioned company to buy midway, and i mean the full midway package, not just the cool franchises like MK. This being the case, it would be an excellent solution, the MKteam could go forward without having to worry about the economical problems suffered by midway.
